New Job

I just wanted to let all of my fellow blogging buddies know the reason why I have been posting and commenting sporadically for about the last week or so.  I have started a new job and it consists of pretty hard physical labor -- weed whacking (on freaking hills), weeding, watering flowers, etc.  By the end of the day I am dog tired. This is a seasonal job and I am really hoping to find something better soon. But, for now this is it.  I wanted to let you know that from now on I am not quite sure how often that I will be able to comment on your blogs or how often I will be able to post either.  Have a great night :)

Cool! A couple years ago I had seasonal work driving a bark truck and blowing bark into peoples' landscaping. Huffin' those hoses up the hills was darned hard and sweaty, but I actually really liked it. Lost some weight, too! If my old boss hadn't offered me a fat raise to come back to work for him, I'd probably still be playing in the bark!

Wow, that is a change. I will pray for your fortitude and add some praise in for your willingness to take such work. Disregard all naysayers. In these times, if they picked you, they must have thought you could do the work. And, on the flip side, an office job will be absolute cake should a good one come along. There is a special blessing for those who put their hands and back into work. Congratulations:)

Awesome that you found something, Teresa! Maybe more of us will, too. In the meantime, no worries, you're a favorite! :)

"In these times, if they picked you, they must have thought you could do the work."

Teresa, your legs should be toned and beautiful by the time you finish this job (not that they are not already:-)

Watch the heat sweet friend. I'm glad you are working and I'll be checking in to see how you are doing.

Well Teresa, Life, at times, interrupts us all.
