Limbaugh announces his new book Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims

Rush had been encouraged and prodded by Vince Flynn to write another book for quite some time. Then one day his wife came up with the idea of a children's book to help kids know the history of America.  The whole title of Limbaugh's new book is Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims: Time-Travel Adventures with Exceptional Americans .

What an excellent idea!!  There are so many kids across the country being fed the wrong information about America and her founding. This book will help educate kids about genuine American history, not the fabricated crap, revisionist history, that many progressives dish out to indoctrinate students into a me me me government owes me something mentality. Kathryn and Rush are awesome!

Vince said to Rush: "Well, why don't you put together a compilation?  Look at all the monologues you've done on the radio and you've preserved all of them on your website. You could get somebody to edit those things and put together three or four books of some of your greatest monologues, each one a chapter."  It's a great idea, but I never moved forward on it.  And then out of the blue... well, the timeline is kind of sketchy on this, but my wife, Kathryn, in conjunction with Vince's entreaties to me, came up with an idea that literally lit a fire under me.
She said, "You know, you're always talking about how history is being mistaught.  You're right.  You're always talking about what kids are learning these days, and they're not learning about the greatness of America.  They're not learning about the founding days. They're not learning the right things about the people, the great people, the exceptional people who founded this country."  And she said, "Why don't you write a book for kids? A series of books for kids, maybe -- see how the first one goes -- that sets the record straight on American history."
And so that is what has happened.  And what we have done, we have brought to life Rush Revere, our character at Two If By Tea.  And we have today the ability to announce to you a book that is aimed for everybody, but it's for kids, to learn the truth about the very early and beginning days of this country, but it is a book for everybody to buy.  Everybody has kids in school, and they're worried sick about what they're learning.  And some of you don't know what to do, how to counter what your kids are being taught, and so Rush Revere to the rescue here.
Now, I don't want to give away the book.  Remember, it's a kids book, but you get the book and you read it with them or you read it to them or you have them read it.  It's for everybody.  I don't want to give an age-group here because I don't want to exclude anybody, 'cause the book is for everybody, but it's written for young people, and it's written honestly, and it does not have an agenda.  It's just the truthful history of the Pilgrims, who they were, where they came from, why they came here, what happened when they got here.  The true story of Thanksgiving.  There's no politics in this.  Ages 10 to 13, something like that, is the age group it's written for, but it's for everybody.  CONTINUED

The book comes out October 29th. I'm going to purchase at least one book for my nieces and nephews. Go and pre-order your book today.

Sounds cool, but I think he aimed a little high in age with a time traveling talking horse.

Rush's books are fabulous.

I'd like to be pleasantly surprised after the book is released, but I don't really trust an objective historical treatise from Rush, anymore than I expect it from the far left.

Odie,

I think the book could be for ages 7 up til 12 or 13.

Bunkerville,

Yea right. Common Core teaching real history? I doubt it.

Supi,

I've really only skimmed through his other books. But I'm sure they are great.

Constitutional Insurgent,

Limbaugh doesn't reinvent history like the far left does consistently. He is objective when it comes to history.

"He is objective when it comes to history."

Have I missed where he has addressed historical events previously?

Rush occasionally talks about history and America's founding on his show.
