3D Printed Guns? Protecting The Second Amendment

In the video below Glenn Beck interviews Cody Wilson the founder of Defense Distributed and the creator of the Wiki Weapons project.
The Wiki Weapons project is so technological advanced that it "would allow anyone to be able to get a gun by printing it on a 3D Printer. He has been called one of the most dangerous men on Earth. He’s already been able to print and fire guns he made on the 3D Printer."

On the one hand I think this ingenuity of the creation of a 3D printable gun is remarkable, pretty cool and is an excellent defense of the Second Amendment, especially when the Second Amendment is being attacked by the libs ever increasingly today, but on the other hand any person, criminal or not, is able to get their hands on this so this does give me pause, to think that the 3D guns should be regulated in some way so criminals are unable to get their hands on these. But there are so many things that are over regulated so maybe this creation is a stroke of genius? What do ya think?

I have never even heard of "3D guns" I am going to do some more indepth research.

I don't believe there is a way to keep criminals from obtaining weapons. They just know how and have the connections.

And we have a government that wants to take away our protection.
