Amazing!!! Liberal Blogger Praises George W. Bush

Below is a link to a comment thread that I think all conservative bloggers would be proud to read.  There is a liberal blogger praising George W. Bush. Its amazing!!! The comments are really interesting to read.  Its interesting to see how many people have changed their minds about George W. Bush, and would rather have him back in office rather than the disgraceful Dear Leader residing in the White House now.  Lets thank Hillbuzz for a powerful and inpiring post. Hillbuzz has definitely had a change of heart. Lets encourage Hillbuzz's conversion.

  3. I'm sorry it took these guys so long to realize what a great man and president Mr. Bush is and was.

I'm sure Mr. Bush would forgive him, because that is the kind of man he is.

    Thanks for the link.

  4. Amazing is right. It is refreshing to see. The comments were also positive. I was expecting to see insults being thrown thier way.

Many things to complain about where Dubbya is concerned, the amount of compassion he has not being one of them. I have a couple of friends who met him several times while he was in office. They all told me was a good guy who you wanted to hang out with. One of these people is not a conservative who didn't agree with policy decisions at all.

I seriously doubt that most people realize what he has done in Africa. He is a rockstar over there. Millions of people are still alive because of his actions. The foundation he set up over there will do good work for decades to come.

  5. This is good Teresa, thanks for the heads up on it, although we knew all along Bush, Blair and both our troops will be considered a liberator of 50 million mostly ungrateful Muslims long after this is done..and the real history is written.

Kids in 20 or hopefully 10 years will be saying "President Bush sure was real hero, but what's a Muslim Daddy?"

    And Hi Opus :)

  9. Chicago Ray,
They are definitely liberators. I hope kids will see them as heroes, too.

  11. I was impressed by the honest repentance the writer seemed to be expressing, for having to savagely vilified and mocked former President George W. Bush. I have to admit that I half expected to read the words "April Fools" at the end of the article, and was relieved to see that they were not there.

Maybe this means that there is some hope for some on the left. Maybe there is a chance that they can recover from the mental illness known as liberalism.

  13. That was a great link. Many are longing for the Bush days again and a commander-in-chief who is just that and not some wimp who pussy-foots around important issues with his finger in the wind. The only time Obama show emotion is when he's talking about changing the America of our fathers into a land like the nation of his father.

  14. I have 2 thoughts on this: first, Bush was in no way the far right Hitleresque President the far left and media made him out to be. He was really a "center left" leaning President. The government grew under Bush more than all Presidents before him combined.

Second: Set your way back machines for 1980 if you remember. The big question Reagan asked the American people was "are you better off than you were 4 years ago? It was a time of horrible economic policy under Carter. So...are we better off than we were a year ago? It didn't take long for the Bush years to become "the good old days" did it???

  19. Andrew33,
I would call former President Bush "center left" on fiscal issues, but very much right-wing on the social issues.

Your right we can look back at the Bush Presidency and call them the good ole days.
