Living in Florida I've never had the experience of seeing a fawn in the wild... However I have been up to my ass in alligators... (just kiddig) Great photo, thanks Teresa...
OPie, No need to worry, the momma deer was probably close by since they usually travel in herds. My parents put out corn feed for the deer to eat.
John, This is actually near Deep Creek, MD but not far off from Pennsylavania.
TCL, I love seeing the deer and other wildlife when I visit my parents.
Testin, My parents live in the mountains and it also helps that my parents put out feed.
