Lions, Tigers, and Bears Oh My!
The Owner of a wild animal reserve was found shot to death and several wild animals escaped and are/were on the loose in Zanesville, OH. About 31 of them have been accounted for and put down, sadly and the authorities aren't sure how many more are on the loose. Jack Hanna has been brought into help with the rescue efforts. But as Jack Hanna points out human safety is the top priority. The residents of Zanesville have been urged to stay inside their houses and schools have been closed.
I hope they catch all the animals soon and all the people stay safe.
This is horrible news. Some nut opens the cages and all the wild animals escape, and they kill the owner of the park! The animals don't know any better, they are just wild, and will do what they do. It's a shame they all have to be killed, but the area must stay safe.
Wierder news every day out there, Teresa, have a nice week.
Absolutely tragic story. Thirty one animals killed! Breaks my heart.
I have never understood why people could be so ignorant and reckless to keep these huge and ferocious animals as pets. They were not meant to be kept in cages and domesticated.
I am sorry that the man is dead.
I hope that the animals will be recovered safely and taken to good zoos or habitats.

Are any of the released animals being treated as "persons (or animals) of interest?"
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how yet, but I'll bet Marxism was involved.

This story broke my heart. All those animals were killed for the folly of one stupid man. He let the animals loose then shot himself. What a maroon.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the welcome back, Ron. Blogging light so far. Will be sending you an email soon. Have a great night!
ReplyDeleteso bizarre!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't surprise me if it wasn't one of those animal-rights activists.
ReplyDeleteHopefully this isn't one of those stupid states that doesn't allow you the right to bear arms. Human beings first, animals after that.
