Michelle Malkin Has Endorsed Rick Santorum For President

Michelle Malkin has endorsed Rick Santorum for President. Michelle gives reasons why she chose to support Rick.

From Michelle Malkin.com:

Rick Santorum opposed TARP.
He didn’t cave when Chicken Littles in Washington invoked a manufactured crisis in 2008. He didn’t follow the pro-bailout GOP crowd — including Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich — and he didn’t have to obfuscate or rationalize his position then or now, like Rick Perry and Herman Cain did. He also opposed the auto bailout, Freddie and Fannie bailout, and porkulus bills.
Santorum opposed individual health care mandates — clearly and forcefully — as far back as his 1994 U.S. Senate run. He has launched the most cogent, forceful fusillade against both Romney and Gingrich for their muddied, pro-individual health care mandate waters.
He voted against cap and trade in 2003, voted yes to drilling in ANWR, and unlike Romney and Gingrich, Santorum has never dabbled with eco-radicals like John HoldrenAl Gore and Nancy Pelosi. He hasn’t written any“Contracts with the Earth.”
Santorum is strong on border security, national security, and defense. Mitt the Flip-Flopper and Open Borders-Pandering Newt have been far less trustworthy on immigration enforcement.
Santorum is an eloquent spokesperson for the culture of life. He has beensavaged and ridiculed by leftist elites for upholding traditional family values — not just in word, but in deed.
He won Iowa through hard work and competent campaign management. Santorum has improved in every GOP debate and gave his strongest performance last week in Florida, wherein he both dismantled Romneycare and popped the Newt bubble by directly challenging the front-runners’ character and candor without resorting to their petty tactics.
He rose above the fray by sticking to issues.
Most commendably, he refused to join Gingrich and Perry in indulging in the contemptible Occupier rhetoric against Romney. Character and honor matter. Santorum has it.
Now she points out that he doesn't have a perfect conservative record.  But his minor flubs are not nearly as egregious as Newt, Mitt, or Paul's straying from conservative principles.  Let's be clear, there is no perfect person. There is no perfect candidate.  He has been the most consistent conservative out of all the candidates. Michelle  Malkin goes on to explain why she did not endorse Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, or Ron Paul.
Rick Santorum has a new radio ad targeting Newt called "Out Of This World".  America needs to get its fiscal house in order. Newt wants to spend money on a moon colony. That's fiscal insanity.
Rick Santorum is leading in the favorability poll. His speech at St. Charles Community College drew an over capacity crowd.
From the St. Louis Examiner
Many grassroots activists are rallying behind Santorum as the latest conservative hope for the presidential GOP nominee. In a Public Policy Polling article, on Tuesday, Santorum was leading in a favorability poll above all remaining candidates.
In Missouri, held a week from today, Santorum has a 63-21 favorability spread to Gingrich’s 52-32, Romney’s 46-36, and Paul’s 28-57.  On the actual primary ballot, for which Gingrich did not qualify, Santorum leads with 45% to Romney’s 34% and Paul’s 13%.  In the caucus, in which Gingrich can compete, Santorum falls to second at 28% behind the former speaker’s 30% and ahead of Romney’s 24% and Paul’s 11%.  Head-to-head, Gingrich would defeat Romney in the state, 43-42, but Santorum would, 50-37.  That is because Santorum’s supporters only go for Gingrich by eight points over Romney, but Gingrich’s vote for Santorum by 28 points.

Here is Santorum's new T.V. ad:

This is good news for Santorum.  I hope that he picks up momentum again.

The Chinese have plans to MINE the moon for gold, uranium, and other rare earths... they also plan to stake out territory and militarize it to some degree

It's not insane to maintain a viable space program, same as military... it's' the other crap we need to cut

Awesome post! I hope he picks up momentum, too. He's the only one I could actually get behind.

Right now, I'm seriously contemplating backing...well, I posted about it on my blog. If, however, Rick pulls ahead of the amphibian and gets into a position to seriously challenge the baseball glove, he's got my vote.

@Watcher, the funny thing is that if enough people sit around waiting for Santorum to pull ahead before supporting him, he never will. Sort of a Catch-22, ya know?

Yes!!! We need to keep supporting this conservative man.
