A powerful must see movie - For Greater Glory

I am looking forward to seeing this movie in the theater. This week is a busy week so hopefully the hubby and I will have the time to see it next week.

That was a real dark time in Mexico's history. Now, I may be wrong, and if any one knows for sure, please feel free to correct me, but I believe that even though the Catholic Church enjoys freedom again, in Mexico, I heard that it is still against the law there for priests, nuns, monks, etc, to appear in public (on the streets) wearing religious garb.

Wow!! I hadn't heard about this movie.

I may have to wait for it to come out on DVD but a definite watch since this is where my ancestors came from.

Adrienne,

Could you be more specific? Uhrm, minus spoilers? If you know how to spot typical liberalisms inserted into otherwise good movies (like having the priest have an affair, or having American politicians act in unison against the Church, when those things aren't historically true).

Teresa,

Same for you, if you see the movie and understand my query to Adrienne. I want to go but I don't want to be insulted by Hollywood again.

Doom - there's no spoiler here because it is history. I advise you to Google the Cristero War and read up on it before you go.

The movie will make you proud to be Catholic!

¡Viva Cristo Rey!
