Turkey to Toys
I hope everyone had a Happy and blessed Thanksgiving holiday yesterday. Enjoyed the yummy turkey , sweet potatoes, corn, mashed potatoes, green been casserole, pumpkin pie and more? Anyone brave the crowds and go out on Black Friday? I have been thinking about how toys have changed over the last 35 years. My favorite toys were Barbies, the Memory game, and Transformers. What were your favorite toys growing up?

When I was younger an air rifle then it became a surf board when I was a little older. No Black Friday here either.
My favorite toys were Barbie and my bike. The bike gave me the freedom to peddle away from my mom at top speed and find refuge for a couple of hours at neighbors home a block or two from my house. Oh how I loved the people with the collie.
A surfboard sounds like fun. You must have really enjoyed riding the waves Odie.
I can understand why you liked your bike. I loved riding my bike to visit various people. Collies are one of my favorite dogs Supi. My family had one til I was in 8th grade.
