Double Standard Exposed: MSM Consistently Cries Wolf on Racism

The fact that progressives consistently make false accusations of racism when conservatives criticize the President has rendered the charge of racism meaningless and a joke. That is unfortunate for the times when racism actually occurs.

I've been warning about this since 2008, all the fake cries of "RAAAACIST!" have caused the word to lose all meaning, leaving people powerless to find justice when real racist evil occurs.

Following up, I think it is time for the Rednecks to decry discrimination. We hear of all the other groups crying foul, time for them! :)) They are a large voting block!!

Liberals have always played the race card and those that oppose Obama are dubbed "racists" just because we don't support him or even voted him.

How ridiculous can they possibly be? It was never about Obama's race, it was his politics that I found disgusting.

Idiots.

Although O’Reilly and Goldberg got some things right, their analysis was flawed. The same goes for the NYT op-ed by Andrew Rosenthal. I don’t know if anyone else here did, but I read the entire Rosenthal piece.

I agree with O’Reilly and Goldberg that the charges of racism against Wilson and Boehner are weak. Would Wilson and Boehner had done what they did to a white POTUS? We’ll never know. I think the reasons they did what they did have more to do with the political polarization in this country than with President Obama’s race.

O’Reilly and Goldberg also glossed over the part of the editorial which focused on Newt‘s comments. In addition to the “food stamp President” comment, the editorial also mentioned how Newt talked about giving “poor children” in “housing projects” jobs cleaning toilets in public schools to teach them there is an alternative to becoming a pimp or a drug dealer. These children, he said, have no work ethic.

The editorial also mentioned how the birthers demanded that President Obama show his birth certificate, something that O’Reilly and Goldberg didn’t touch on at all. I wonder why. Also, Rosenthal never called Romney a racist. He asked if Romney was employing tactics similar to Newt’s.

As I said earlier, the Rosenthal piece was flawed too. Although he made some good points, he should have stayed away from the stuff about Wilson and Boehner. Instead, he could have included the incidents involving emails sent out by GOP officials:

http://www.good.is/post/gop-official-says-her-incredibly-racist-obama-monkey-email-wasn-t-racist/

Ironically, in a piece about how the left plays the race card, Bernie Goldberg did the same thing. Did anyone else notice how he said the left’s criticism of black conservatives like Herman Cain and Allen West were because of race? Playing the race card isn’t a left or right thing. People on both sides do it.

All of the criticism by non-blacks who oppose President Obama isn’t race related. A lot of it is hypocritical, but that‘s another story. However, if anyone is pretending that some of the attacks aren’t racist, they are deluding themselves.

Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the net the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people think about worries that they just don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
