It's Official: Rick Santorum Announces His Bid for the Republican Nomination - What a Powerful Speech!

The introduction by his wife lasts about 5 minutes. After that I believe you will be impressed with Rick Santorum's speech. He literally speaks to the heart of Americans, believes in American exceptionalism, believes in the freedom and greatness of the American individual and their right to make choices instead of giving the government the power to make choices for the individual. His speech lasts around 20 minutes but is well worth the listen. Enjoy!

Let me put it this way, but having attended more Allen West speeches than I can count, and having attended Trump, Cain, Rubio, Palin, Bachmann, Demint, speeches, I am just above "lukewarm" about Santorum. West, Palin and Bachmann are my top pics (BY THE WAY, West says that out of state support received in 2010 and many people asking has led West to make the decision to 'allow himself to be drafted" but he needs calls from you to push him in. Call his office in DC and DEMAND he run).

Santorum is in my second tier along with Cain and Ryan. Santorum could be a perfect "balance" candidate to center a ticket, but im afraid that if he runs with a moderate, the ticket would be too moderate, and if he runs with a tea party candidate, he may not be mortars enough to balance a ticket. Look at the great presidential winning tickets and there was balance. Reagan (Conservative outsider) Bush (DC insider, fundraising, moderated the ticket). Obama (fundraising, appealed to base, minorities) Biden (pro military, brought white Catholic and New England "Yankee" democrat vote). We need a good balanced ticket with the best speaker at the top. In both tickets I mentioned, the best speaker was at the top.
Santorum could position himself as a traditional republican while West brings the tea party and as vast a foreign policy experience as you can get. If you want to see some Lt Col. west speeches, I have several recorded. Lt Col West introduced Trump here. After West got the crowd going, Tump seemed like a blathering idiot. I think it got into trump's head as since then, he lost confidence and fell in the polls. West will bring OUR values plus 2 military careers (traditional and special ops). HIs actions in Afganistan saved a military base and the soldiers there. I'm not knocking Santorum. However, when it comes to speeches, knowledge and experience both foreign and domestic, West is BY FAR my first choice and now he is considering getting in!!!

Sorry Teresa, I'm going to have to side with Andrew... Santorum is a good and decednt man, but I don't think he can beat Obama... I wasn't aware that Lt. Col. / Congressman West was even allowing himself to be drafted... I've got to at least try to get him to run... No race card in that race...

Santorum is my favorite among those who are officially running for President. If Palin, Bachmann, or West enter the race they will be on the top of my list also. I think the only combination that I would have concerns about supporting is either a Palin/Bachmann ticket or Bachmann/Palin ticket but all the other combinations between these four candidates I would support 100%.

Born Again,

Sorry but I have to disagree with you. At this point before the 2008 campaign/election who could have imagined or who had even heard of Obama and actually thought that he would be the next president? I don't think we can count anyone out at this point or say that any person is unelectable because at this point it is anyone's election to win. I do like Congressman West but Santorum has more experience behind him in different ways. I actually think the both of them would complement each other very well. I love Rick because he speaks his mind and that is something that both West and Santorum have in common.

I like Santorum, as you know. I love Allen West, but until he is persuaded to run, he's not running and Santorum is. In my blog post about him I show that he's got tons of foreign policy cred, more than anyone else currently running and most imortantly, he is not afraid to speak out against the islamic threat and sharia infiltration of this country. He's the strongest one running in that area too and that is crucial to me. Santorum also stands strongly against CRIMINAL ALIEN INVADERS and communicates clearly and powerfully on these issues.
