Defending Our Second Amendment Rights: Guns Save Lives

This is one example of how guns save lives:

Here is Keyes speaking on the 2nd Amendment:

Guns Save Lives by John Stossel:
It's all too predictable. A day after a gunman killed six people and wounded 18 others at Northern Illinois University, The New York Times criticized the U.S. Interior Department for preparing to rethink its ban on guns in national parks.

The editorial board wants "the 51 senators who like the thought of guns in the parks -- and everywhere else, it seems -- to realize that the innocence of Americans is better protected by carefully controlling guns than it is by arming everyone to the teeth."

As usual, the Times editors seem unaware of how silly their argument is. To them, the choice is between "carefully controlling guns" and "arming everyone to the teeth." But no one favors "arming everyone to the teeth" (whatever that means). Instead, gun advocates favor freedom, choice and self-responsibility. If someone wishes to be prepared to defend himself, he should be free to do so. No one has the right to deprive others of the means of effective self-defense, like a handgun.

Dr. Alan Keyes is right on. I have always admired him and I can honestly say that he would have made a far better President then Obama.

The second amendment was put there for a reason. And it was not about hunting animals in the woods.

Arm the good people. Keep bad guys under control.

Disarm the good people. Give bad guys free rein.

Hi Teresa, great video's. We know Guns save lives, and I agree w/ The Most Rev. and Opus too.

I can't wait to see what the Supreme Court says about the CHicago Gun Ban, that ruling is due next week.
Our psycho mayor daley will probably have a stroke, he's such an evil tard who wants us all to die, while the gangbangers are armed to the teeth!

Have a fun friday, and stay cool.

Those stupid Liberals have been trying to protect us from ourselves since time began. They are anti guns, fat, cigarettes, salt, CO2, warmth, oil, big business, and just plain having fun around a neighborhood barbecue. They're all a bunch of limp-wristed sissies. Come and take guns if you think you can.

Disarming always seems to mean disarming the good guys who just want to protect themselves.......
I'm with Rev Gregory...but, then, anybody'd have made a 'far better President than Obama'.....

I linked to you with a Stossel Megyn Kelly video that echoes the piece you have from this afternoon showing the conceal carry laws dramatically decrease the murder rate/ these were good ones 2 Teresa ;)

Exactly, the message to liberal morons is this, if you don't like guns then don't buy one. If you can swallow that argument about the unborn, then swallow it for guns too.
