We got even after that day. One has to wonder what possessed that stupid Japan for attacking.

@ Woodsterman, The Japanese thought us to be weak and decadent, and if they hit us hard enough, we'd cave and retreat to the West Coast.
That, and they needed resources. We cut off their oil, and they needed to put us out of action long enough to conquer other sources.
