The Gipper's commemorative stamp will officially be released on Feb. 10 on the 100th anniversary of Ronald Reagan's birth. According to The Washington Times, "Texas artist Bart Forbes created the portrait, based on a 1985 photograph of Reagan taken at Rancho del Cielo, near Santa Barbara, Calif."
This is a wonderful commemoration for a man who was truly one of the greatest presidents in the history of the United States.

That's great Teresa. It's well deserved, and looks great.
That's a nice picture. Reagan rocks!
I'm so glad Nancy was able to attend the unveiling of the RR Stamp. The excellent portrait.
A few years ago, there was a Ronald Reagan stamp for general use. I nabbed one sheet and still use those Reagan stamps (with postage added, of course) to send mail to my closest conservative friends.
I look forward to it.
Yeah
I'm a collector (to my wife's dismay), but never before of stamps. Looks like I will be taking up the hobby when this stamp is released. Or may just buy a sheet and have them framed, to include as part of my RR memorobilia collection. :)
