Judie Brown, President of American Life League, Speaks on Palliative Care: The Third Path to Hell Or The Road to Christ

I hope to make the rounds to all my favorite blogs soon but between dealing with major pain issues and an increased work schedule I am lacking the energy to do so right now. God Bless. Have a great night!

Yes, I have been thinking about this. If the medicine doesn't repair my heart, and since I don't believe in heart transplants* for a number of reasons, I am probably facing palliative care. There is a Catholic group here in the state in which I live. Even if I have to suffer a bit, should I end up that way, I want people I can trust to help me through to the end. I won't agree to be murdered in the name of compassion.

*Some say that by refusing a heart transplant I am choosing my fate. But if you look into transplants, from what I have seen it is still experimental and... questionable.

I don't know if your illness might ever take you to that point. But I have to guess that, as someone who is weak from illness, you know you are a target of the 'compassion murderers'? Anyway, it is something to pray about.

I'm sorry to hear that you go through chronic pain too, Fuzzys dad. It looks like I will be having surgery at the end of October so that should take care of it.
