I Had a Fabulous Time at the Michele Bachmann Rally in Washington D.C.

I had a fabulous time at the rally in Washington D.C. on Thursday, November 5th. It was wonderful hearing from Michele Bachmann, Jon Voight, Mark Levin, and many other politicians at the health care protest. In the latter part of the afternoon, a group of us were able to meet with one of our congressman Jason Altmire(PA-D). He is a damn wiffle-waffler!!! The man irks me because he would not commit to anything. He said that he would not vote for a health care bill if that contains certain items in it. Which this does. But, he still wouldn't commit to voting NO on this Bill.
I said to Rep. Altmire,"Are you really listening to us? Or are our words just going in one ear and out the rest? This Health Care Bill has nothing to do with health care. This is about taking away our freedom and liberty." Well, I didn't get a response from him. He did end up voting against Pelosicare but, I think he was waiting for Speaker Pelosi to tell him how to vote. I think that he was waiting for the evil witch to wave her wand, and give him a command on whether he could vote Yes or No, on Pelosicare. Even so, I did appreciate him taking time out to listen(maybe?) to us.

Teresa, Thanks for the report and all your contributions. Sorry all of your efforts fell on deaf ears though. I wish those Dems understood about freedom. They understand one thing .... Power through control.

I live in Minnesota's Third District (Erik Paulsen -R). John Kline (R) represents Minnesota's Second, Bachmann represent the Sixth. The other five congressional districts are controlled by Democrats.

95% of the liberal attacks on Minnnesota Congress Members are directed at Bachamann, because she's a conservative woman.

It's nice to see her getting some national publicity to rile up her liberal critics.

Teresa,
Thanks for taking time out of our busy schedule to attend the DC rally. Enjoyed reading your report and I'm glad your congressman eventually did vote NO to Pelosi's bill.

Congresswoman Bachmann is a credit to the House and as such a marked woman by those on the left. They cannot tolerate a woman or a black with conservative views. Teresa, now that I think about it you fall into one of those groups.

Well, I'm happy you had a good time, but I have to ask one important question... What did you bring me?

Vote him out just because he wouldn't speak his mind, Teresa.

BTW: Dr. Dave is dead; I'm now Snarky Basterd.

Way to go Teresa! At least you could get there and actually speak to your Rep.

About how many people would you say were there?

I was so glad that I was able to go to D.C. and put a little heat on my congressman.

Odie,
Ya never know if you don't try. These Dems are so anti-freedom.

Bats Right, Throws Right,
I am glad too. I really like Michele Bachmann.

The Conservative Lady,
I am happy that Rep. Altmire did vote NO on the bill. I had a great time in D.C.

Ron,
Yes. Bachmann is a marked woman by the left. She has taken a stand & stands for freedom. As you mentioned, I guess I do fall into one of those categories.

The Right Look,
I am not sure, but I would guess that there were 30,000-40,000 people in D.C.

We really thank you Teresa for your strong activist stance and all the work you do in support of conservative values and principals. You are special and I for one recognize that. Wish I could get out and do such things, but alas the years have taken a toll on my old body, but my thoughts, my heart and my prayers are alway with you.
