This is one of the most heartwrenching stories that I have heard about in a while. This cute, playful, lovable boy was abducted by his mother and taken to Italy without his Father's knowledge or permission. Italy found that his mother was unfit and took the boy away from his mother and placed him in an orphanage instead of giving Liam back to his father. Michael McCarty has done everything right legally with regards to getting his son back from Italy. This is just oh so sad.... This makes me so angry, too. How dare the Italian government keep a boy away from his father? Those people in the Italian government are a bunch of kidnapping criminals in my book. I think Americans need to boycott Italy. I think that we should boycott all the Italian made products and Americans should especially not go on any vacations to Italy until Liam is returned to his father. I dare you to watch the videos without shedding a tear or two.

It seems that many countries these days let their nationalism override their humanity. Long history of this in the world.
Social Services these days have targets to reach, adoption quotas to fill and boxes to tick to show their bureaucratic apparatchik bosses they are doing their "job" - that's the EU socialist way - coming to a place near you if Obama carries on the way he's started!
Commies don't do compassion, Teresa, and when people do eventually rise up against them, no compassion should be shown to them in return for their crimes.
This is a tragic story.
That being said, if that happened in this country, and the father was from a communist dictatorship...
That's another socialistic government that knows better than its people how to run their lives. The libs here would like the same.
Ron,
You got that right.
Barking Spider,
Your right. Those libs that claim to be compassionate are the most uncompassionate people.
Matt,
Actually, we did. And, Eric Holder and Janet Reno screwed that up too. Remember Elian Gonzalez? How he would have been much better off if he stayed in the U.S.? But, no they sent him back to Cuba.
Odie,
Socialism sucks.
I was aware Teresa. I was being sarcastic.
Matt,
Unfortunately, sometimes sarcasm is hard to spot in print.
These people are fascist, brutal, and will do anything to impose their will on people.
Using a child as a pawn is the cruelest thing a person can do. I will pray for that little boy. I was never fond of Italy anyway, it's overrated, in my opinion, so I'll be buying NOTHING from them.
PS: thanks for the Follow Friday on twitter, you're a sweetheart!
