Are Vladimir Lenin & Barack Obama's Socialized Medicine Initiatives Eerily Similar?

“Would socialized medicine lead to socialization of other phases of life? Lenin thought so. He declared socialized medicine is the keystone to the arch of the socialist state.”

1945 AMA Pamphlet Warning

The Communist Workers Party published an article recently in defense of state-run medicine like the proposal that democrats are wanting to ram through in the next 10 days.

From the Socialists Workers Party–

When the administration of John F. Kennedy discussed a plan for government health care that would cover people of Social Security age, the American Medical Association (AMA) fought back, along with the insurance and pharmaceutical industries, with a well-funded campaign–complete with a commercial featuring actor Ronald Reagan, who was determined to talk to America about an “imminent threat”:

Now, back in 1927, an American socialist, Norman Thomas, six times candidate for president on the Socialist Party ticket, said the American people would never vote for socialism. But he said under the name of liberalism, the American people would adopt every fragment of the socialist program…

One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It’s very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project…Now, the American people, if you put it to them about socialized medicine and gave them a chance to choose, would unhesitatingly vote against it.

…Of course, the danger of creeping socialism is a much less compelling argument today among ordinary people than it was during the Cold War. If anything, socialism is becoming a preferred alternative to the mess that capitalism has made of working-class living standards…

…According to the Physicians for a National Health Program’s (PNHP) Karen Palmer, the AMA assessed its members an extra $25 each to resist national health insurance, and in 1945, it spent $1.5 million on lobbying efforts, which at the time was the most expensive lobbying effort in American history. An AMA pamphlet warned, “Would socialized medicine lead to socialization of other phases of life? Lenin thought so. He declared socialized medicine is the keystone to the arch of the socialist state.”

We are only 10 days away (or less!) from the final vote on ObamaCare. If the House votes yes on the Senate bill that is now before it, THE GAME IS OVER. Since the Senate already passed it, once the House passes it on March 18, Obama’s signature on it (which will be immediate) MAKES IT LAW.

We are about to become a Socialist country. For if this passes, it will be virtually unrepealable. Health entitlement programs, once enacted, have proven to be permanent.

Think about it. Ten days from now: Permanent taxpayer funding of abortion. Permanent death panels (yes, those are in the bill), with no appeal of their decisions. Permanent forcing of pro-life doctors to refer for abortions, under penalty of loss of their license to practice. Within five years, no more freedom to buy private policies of your choice (only policies approved by the federal government). Small insurance companies, such as the one that took such incredibly good care of my husband during his illness, will very quickly be permanently out of business.

The Democrats KNOW that nationalizing health care is the single most effective step in making the USA a socialist country. Lenin said it first:

WE MUST DO WHATEVER IT TAKES IN THE NEXT TEN DAYS TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING!

Now is the time to act.

H/T goes to Gateway Pundit

And WHAT has the AMA done to fight Obamacare in 2009 and 2010? Almost zilch that I can detect. Corruption runs deep in our culture.

Yes, as Lovin Ma Soldier says, "those posters are FREAKY!"

But so much about Obama is FREAKY. Who was it who said health care is the key to controlling the people? Some famous Communist, plus a lot of Democrats behind those closed doors.

Teresa, we must stop it, but I don't know that we can. On the other hand, I'm hearing that no matter what Stupak is saying, there is no alternative bill.

Never has there been such doubt in our goverment (maybe under Wilson??? - probably not. These are terrifying times.

If Obama care gets passed, we will just have pressure all newly elected candidates to repeal it along with every other unconstitutional law. It CAN be done. Those who say that once something is passed into law, it will take years to undo, are full of it.

Great post Teresa.

Indeed scary stuff. The socialist have infiltrated the Democratic Party, they call themselves progressives. It's on the DSA website. They know that the cornerstone of creating a socialistic society is healthcare. They have been pounding on this door for years. Once healthcare is rammed through congress, they can move onto immigration reform, continue the nationalization of our banks through regulatory policies, and eventually cap and trade to control all energy. Why do you think Obama has kept his focus on healthcare when most Americans want him to focus on jobs? He knows that once the structure is set for controlling our healthcare, the Republicans will never have the courage to repeal it. And do you know how they know this. Because they failed to back Senator Jim Bunning when he stood alone demanding how we were going to pay for an additional $10 billion in federal spending a few weeks ago. The Republicans all should have lined up behind him and said in one loud voice yelled enough. Instead they caved, ran for the exit doors and displayed an overall weakness. The Dems now know that Republicans will never have the courage to repeal this. This is why we must choose wisely in the primaries.

Well said Teresa.

Obama promised that he would be "fundamentally transforming" our nation and he is trying to live up to that promise with his progressive agenda.

We need to put an end to his plans in November and then it all stops in 2012.

I am not saying this because I promote or support violence, but if this bill passes, The USA will be in a civil war in two years.
My reasoning behind this is based in history. Bad economic times leads to violence and economic collapse leads to civil wars, revolutions and if enough people are affected by economic collapse, war between countries.
My reasoning for thinking we are facing economic collapse? The recession that began 2 years ago were caused by, first, a price spike in oil, which caused 2 economic "bubbles" where speculation ad artificially increased percieved values of both house prices and stock values. Tcehnically, these two "bubbles" can be divided into 4 but this is all already done and the biggest "bubbles" are yet to come. There are 3 more economic bubbles that when burst will end our economic system and possibly life as we know it. The first two, most of you know about. Those are the commercial property and inflationary bubbles. In 2011, 40% of commercial puplic property loans come due and are "under water" meaning more is owed on the property than the value of the property so defaults and foreclosures are likely. Second, is the value of the U.S.dollar is a bigger bubble. Nations are already discussing ways of using other currency which will send all the dollars we have poured into other countries and have put into our banking system will pour into our economy all at once causing massive price spikes; think 12$ a gallon for gas, $1000 for a loaf of bread.
The biggest and most frightening bubble is one nobody has heard of yet. Since 1960, computing power has doubled roughly every 2 years. This has allowed money transfers between nations, banks, and companies to increase financial transfers exponentially, to the point where the amounts of money in these computerized money transfers have far exceeded the amount of money on the earth. of various reasons, the increase of computing power is fast approaching a "brick wall." Either before or when that happens, the world's computerized banking will crash, wiping out any "soft" (money stored via computer) money, crashing the world economy. This is an overly simplified explanation of a very complex economic theory, but is a good reason to look at means of storing financial resources outside the "electronic financial" system or as some say in movies or on TV: "off the grid".
