John Voight Speaks on Obama and The Rape of America!!
Most Rev. Gregori, I admire John Voight, also. I wish that there were more actors/actresses like him. I like Huckabee much better than O'Reilly. I think Huckabee tries to see the best in people, maybe blindly not realizing the reality about the person/situation.
Hi teresa: I apologize for not being around. I have family visiting and we have been "all family all the time:-)"
We watched this last night. I thought Voight was spot-on. I was struck by Huckabee's response, and I hope he is not planning a presidential run.
That Huckabee could listen to this and then reply that he is not one of those who think Obama is purposefully harming the country...left me speechless. Voight looked him right in the eye, and if we could have seen him face-on we would probably have noticed that Voight couldn't believe what he was hearing.
Voight did not do the polite thing and nod his head. He just moved right into Obama's adherence to the Rule for Radicals.
I admire him and I loved that he said everyone must join a Tea Party. He is right. We need the masses who feel as we feel.
Thanks for posting this video, Teresa. I missed the show. Voight did a good job, although I wish people would stop calling us a democracy...we're a republic. As for Huckabee...I think guys like he and O'Reilly feel they have to give Obama the benefit of the doubt to make themselves look "fair & balanced". I just think that makes them look naive.
Teresa, thank you, for sharing this video. Without your effort to post it, I’d most probably never seen it. It helps to know there are voices who have the ability to reach so many are using their voice to save many. I too love my country. I too, know this President is placing us in harms way. But I am only a blogger. But we are woven together with those who come here and to other blogs to comment and question and congregate to join as one. We know we are headed in a dangerous direction and we know who is responsible for this turn from greatness and liberty. While there are many who trumpet the lie foisted on our nation, there are few willing to run against it. But one thing is sure: America does not want to go where Obama is going, and as a country we are again awakened from a slumber to find we have overslept and made a terrible mistake. I meet with GOP leaders of our county here in Elkhorn twice monthly. We talk, we debate, but what we do most is pray, for the country to be stirred up and for the cause to be just and pure. When I hear people say “This is not what America is and it is not what Obama says it is, I ask them, “What does it smell like to you? Because if it smells like a traitor, you can be damn sure it is one.”

I wish we had more like Jon Voight in Hollywood. We need more like him everywhere, but especially where there is such a dearth of conservativism.
Huckabee is too much of a politician for my tastes. If he's pulling his punches because he's planning another prez run, then he's wasting his time.
John Voight is a real hero!
