I watch this earlier today, live and must say Megyn really flew into Kirsten. Quite honestly I was surprised. Hope I don't ever have to cross swords with Megyn. She had me feeling a little sorry for Kirsten, something I seldom do. Was wondering how many watched this. Kirsten had it all wrong and was struggling to defend her point which was impossible!

Wow...talk about a Kool-aide drinker. This is another intellectually bankrupt individual that blindly supports everything the Obama administration does. I can't wait until November.

Megyn destroyed her. Thant's what happens when you try to defend the indefensible.

Seems the libs have taken the Al Sharpton strategy on everything.

If they're black, they must be right, and can't be wrong.
Ditto Mulsims,
Ditto Illegal Aliens
Ditto anyone law abiding citizens oppose.

They've descended into absurdity and haven't a clue how to get out.

DESTROYED is a perfect adjective Teresa!!!!!!!

Thanks, I was at work but this is classic!!!!!

Good one I posted too...I like both women but Powers made the classic liberal mistake of saying "you don't know..." with the wrong chickie. Kelly's as sharp as they come and Powers is just a pretty face.

I catch that show with Rush in background every day.

This was unusual for Kirsten, in my opinion. I was delighted to see her so uninformed, and more delighted to see Megyn take advantage of it.

Having said that, Megyn gave her every opportunity. I felt Kirsten came to the segment angry. How embarrassing for her.

This is such an important issue. I'm glad Megyn stood up for voters.

I think they may have got into a fight before hand. They just went crazy from the get go.

The only thing destroyed was whatever credibility Megyn Kelly had left. When a guest has the audacity to inform viewers/provide an opposing viewpoint, Megyn will shout them down. If that doesn't work, she threatens to cut off their microphone. Talk about unprofessional. Props to Kirsten for calling her out.

Malcolm,
Megyn Kelly had class, the knowledge and evidence to back her up but Powers was utterly clueless, didn't know the facts and giving the Black Panthers and Holder DOJ a pass just cause she's a liberal. This is pure racism and I'd like the NAACP to actually be legitimate and call out true racism instead of making stuff up out of thin air.

Malcolm,

Kirsten acted exactly like a 3 year old spoiled brat. She didn't shut up the entire 9 minutes and 50 seconds then had the gall and total disconnect with reality to accuse the host of talking over her.

And she didn't do her homework before she showed up on national TV

And she squealed BUSH! Sqwuak! Bush! the whole time.

She was incredibly unprofessional, ill prepared and totally lacking in manners or having any respect for the HOST of the program she was on.

Cordially,
The Kid.

Teresa and The Kid: We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Teresa: I don't know if you saw it, but I added my comments to the recent guest post by Sandy about Fox News at Diversity Ink. One of the things I commented on was Bartle Bull's background.

The Kid: You are more than welcome to join the discussion too:

Malcolm: Agreeing to disagree sounds good.

It seems like you are dismissing all of Bartle Bull's civil rights qualifications and erasing his experience in standing up for African Americans' civil rights just because he didn't vote for Obama. It seems like your saying its okay for him to stand up for infringements against blacks but not any others? I hope I am misreading you.

Malcolm said...

Yes Teresa, you are misreading me. I wasn't dismissing Bull's civil rights record nor was I saying he should only stand up for black people. What I was saying is it was obvious Fox News was trying to make Bull seem more legit as an eyewitness than he may turn out to be. Also, if you have an answer to the question I posed about Fox News' motives for virtually ignoring a similar story a few years ago while over-hyping the NBPP case, please enlighten me in the comments section of Diversity Ink.

As for the NAACP, I hope to have a post up about them later this week. I look forward to your participation.
