Quote by John Dunning, Baron Ashburton

The power of the Crown has increased, is increasing, and ought to be diminished.
Motion passed in the House of Commons, 1780

The same can be said of the all expansive federal government today.

The power needs to return to the people.  When citizens fear their government tyranny is thrust upon them. When a government fears their people then liberty lives on. The Executive and Judicial branches of our government needs a considerable reduction in power. All three branches are corrupt but both the Judicial and Executive branches have subverted the Constitution and abused their powers IMO.

Any ideas on how to shrink overreaching powers and clean house in the federal government?

Any creative ideas on how to advance the cause of liberty?

Work hard to destroy the stranglehold of duopoly that both major parties maintain; in concert no less.

Elect only those elected representatives who look at every single legislative proposal with a foremost question - How does this bill enhance or increase the liberty if the citizen.

It seems that there has been a duopoly of parties in this country for a long time. We just need to form another party which appeals to voters and gives the duopoly a run for their money.

Good idea!

I strongly agree with this. When the crown gains power, the people ALWAYS lose. ALWAYS.
