Teresa the answer is complex. I believe he wants to correct what he believes was a wrong when the UN established Israel in 1947, and one might interpret this as yes. I know I do. But he is also walking a fine line with his party and the Jewish vote. I think he will end up pulling his support for Israel on a case by case basis.
Can there be any other answer besides yes, when all of his actions show that he does?
And leave us not to forget his own words in one of his books (I believe it was "Dreams From My Father) when he wrote: "If the political winds take a bad turn, I will side with the Palestinians." Need I say more?
